How I earn more than P200,000 from blogging: Secrets revealed!

I’ve been receiving several emails inquiring about how I earn money from blogging. To answer those questions, I decided to write this post and revealed the secrets of how this blog earn more than $5,000(more than P200,000) and counting from the day it was launched. Are you in? Let’s do this!

Before I share you the secrets of how I earn money from blogging, I’d like you to take note that I write this post not to brag nor to boast or whatever. I’m writing this one to inspire and maybe spark some light inside you that it’s possible to earn a decent amount by just blogging part-time.

What I’m sharing with you is my own experience, real and hands-on experience. So whether you believe it or not, that doesn’t change anything on my end. It’s up to you brother!

Please read this post with an open mind so you can really grasp the meaning behind the words I’ll have to say. Take note, I’m not forcing you to believe what I say nor I’m not pushing you to do this thing called “blogging“.

What is blogging?

Before we dive into the “monetization” part, I guess it is important to explain or to touch the base topic we have for this post. What is really that thing called blogging?

In a nutshell, a blog is just a series or collection of articles online or in a website. In earlier years, it was used like just a normal personal diary by people who wants to document events or things in their lives. The only difference is it was being done online.

The blog comes from the word web log. Meaning, logs or notes on the web or the internet. So basically, blogging is the act or way of writing or creating content for your blogs.

Over the years, blogging grows from personal to a business level. Solorpreneurs, small businesses and other types of companies are investing and spending money on blogs to reach more of their customers.

With the growth of the internet and technology, blogging becomes a tool for reaching more people which can turn into customers for businesses.

How I earn money from blogging

Let’s now move on to my secrets of how I earn money from this blog.

Again, this is just to inspire you and nothing else. Owki?

Here we go.

This blog earns in 3 different ways so far. They are:

• Google Adsense
• Sponsored Article
• Affiliate Marketing

To help you understand and to help you believe it’s true, let me explain each of this monetization method.

1. Google Adsense

From the name itself, this program is created by Google. Google Adsense is a monetization program by Google for publishers, bloggers, vloggers and anyone who produce content online.

It simply works like this.

You have a blog/vlog/website > You apply for Google Adsense program and got approved > You copy the Google Adsense code from Google and paste it on your site > You earn small portion when someone view/click those ads.

So why Google is paying you for this program?

Those ads that Google display on your website or blog is ads or advertisement of real businesses who paid Google. So in the backend, Google earns more when the ads on your site have been viewed or clicked by your visitors.

The odd things are, you really earn a very small portion of what Google received from that business. But the good side is, it can really be a source of passive income. If you have a high traffic blog or website, you can really earn a decent amount from Google Adsense.

2. Sponsored Articles

Sponsored articles are basically articles or posts from external people or company posted on this blog. They will send me an article if it’s approved it’ll be posted on this blog. Then they pay me.

It works like this.

After inquiry, someone will send you their article > You approved > You publish the article on your blog > They pay you $$$.

Simple ways to make money right?

But here’s the real scenario behind that. The article or post they sent you contains hyperlinks or links going to their websites or their client websites. In more technical terms, they’re just building links for their own or client websites.

But how they spend money just to have links or backlinks on people’s blog? Good question. The answer is SEO or Search Engine Optimization. When a website or blog has more links or backlinks, it ranked higher in search engines like Google and Yahoo. That means, they can potentially gain more web traffic and potentially gain more customers. That’s just it!

Now, how much they pay really depends on you or the owner of the blog.

I started charging $30 per article when this blog was just starting out but right now, my rate for this blog is $65 for a single article that can contain 2-3 hyperlinks. That’s just for me, other bloggers ask more than that.

Imagine how much money you can earn for sponsored articles right?

3. Affiliate Marketing

Aside from Google Adsense and Sponsored articles, this blog also earns a decent amount from affiliate marketing. If you noticed, I got a Truly Rich Club banner on this blog. That is because I’m a member of the TRC and by being a member, you’ll also become Bo Sanchez’s affiliate.

So how does affiliate marketing works?

You simply promote other people products or services and then when they made a sale, you earn a commission. That’s it! You don’t have to do anything, just promote a link or banner to your affiliate and then boom you make money.

When in the world you can earn money in the comfort of your home by doing the things you love. By just sharing valuable things on the internet. By helping other people. Only today!

Why?

Because we’re in the internet age and you can use that to your advantage.  Go out and share something. Help and inspire and earn money at the same time.

What’s in it for you?

Ok, by now, you already knew my secrets and monetization strategies for this blog. I hope you got inspired. I hope you got motivated.

But inspiration and motivation will only take minutes or hours in your head. To make things happen, you need to take action.

Now here’s the thing. It took so much time and so much effort to achieved these earnings from blogging. Though it’s just almost 2 years, the effort and work I put in on this blog were countless.

It’s just now you’re seeing the results of pure hard work and perseverance and seems easy. But I’m telling you, it is not.

So why I’m sharing this?

Again you can use this as an inspiration or motivation then to start on your own. Start a blog, share something to the world.

I’m 101% sure that you got something to share that can impact and change other people’s lives.

Again, I’m telling you it’s not easy but promise, it’s all worth it!

What I showed you are just 3 of the hundreds of ways on how you can earn or monetize your blog. There are several different ways which earn way more than that.

You just need to learn and take action.

Start by sharing what you know. Your skills, your talents, your passion. Help other people solving their problems, answering their questions or easing their pain.

Create content that provides value and quality, from there you’ll start to grow and earn money in return.
