Personal finance books is one of the reason why I discovered and ignite my passion in personal finance. I became addicted and found my self starving for knowledge to learn more about proper personal finance.
It awaken the giant inside me and pushed me to take control of my finances. I learned the basic and fundamentals of budgeting, insurance, emergency fund and investing and apply them in my life.
I’m not an expert, in fact I still consider myself as a beginner. But I’m telling you that there was a huge difference from what I knew before and what I know right now.
The way I handle, spend, and think about money was great way now than before. That’s one of the benefits I gained after reading several personal finance books that I will be sharing right now.

1. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
This book made big impact on me. I’ve read this twice and still reading it sometimes. I also listen to the audio version of this book. It’s so inspiring and full of value.
Sir Napoleon Hill spent 25 years of research and study about the hundreds of successful and millionaires man in America and shared the lessons and experience on this book. This will definitely give you the best lessons on how to be successful and be rich too.
This is the best in many personal finance books I’ve read. Definitely the best. I will create a separate article and review on this book on the future articles.
2. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
Rich Dad Poor Dad book written by Robert Kiyosaki is another personal finance book that influence me and many of hundreds and thousands of other people. This is my top 2 personal finance book so far.
On this book, Sir Robert shared money and life lessons from his 2 dads. The poor dad (his real dad) and the rich dad (his best friend’s father). Having 2 dads with different point of views in life and in money made Sir Robert realized the importance of financial intelligence.
He shared countless and unlimited valuable lessons on this book that can really change your life. After following and applying lessons he learned from his “rich dad”, he became rich and successful.
I will also share separate article for this in the future. This is another great personal finance book you must read.
3. The Richest Man in Babylon by George Clason
One of the classic yet the best personal finance book I read so far. This book will really inspire and provide you real life lessons about money and success. You can ready my 3 parts review and article of this book here.

4. 7 Habit of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey
One of my favorite personal finance related book. Although the main focus of this book is not really about finance, lessons and values found on this book is applicable in any areas of your life including personal finance.
I’ve read this book several times and also listening to it’s audio version. On this book, Sir Stephen shared 7 effective habits that you can adapt to be successful in any areas of our life.

5. Cashflow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki
On this personal finance book by Robert Kiyosaki, you’ll discover the 4 quadrants of finance or money. You’ll also learn how people in different quadrants look, handle and think about money.
I learned so much from this book and I’m applying them on my life. It’s one of the eye-opening personal finance book that can really change your life. Read this book and see what I’m talking about.
6. 8 Habits of The Happy Millionaire by Bo Sanchez
As mentioned in my 8 personal finance blog that could change your life, Bo Sanchez is my favorite Filipino author and personal finance advocate. He really inspired me when I’m starting to learn about basic and fundamentals of personal finance. You can read my previous article about the 8 habits of the happy millionaire here.
7. My Maid invest in the Stock Market by Bo Sanchez
This is the first book/ebook I read before that also made me curious about proper budgeting and growing my money. Another great book from my favorite author.
Although this book focused on basic and fundamental knowledge about investing in the stock market, it also shares valuable lessons about proper money management that you can apply in your own life.
I was moved and inspired by this book too that’s why I included it on my top 7 of personal finance books.
That’s it! Those are my top 7 personal finance books so far. I have read other books too and still reading up to now. I just picked these 7 personal finance related books from the top of my head without looking at my “ebook library” to see what I can really remember.
On the future articles, I will share more of my experience and lessons learned from reading other personal finance and success books. This will be for now.
