Hey you! What’s up? How are you, I hope everything is fine. If you’re a beginner in personal finance I have a short inspirational message for you. I like being inspired and in return I like inspiring people too. I’m hoping this short personal finance message maybe useful for you.
The moment you realize you want a change and you want to take charge of your personal finance, you already took the first step towards success. Congratulations! Many people not able to do that. I’m happy for you.
Many of us stucked on the “monotonous” activity in life that leads to nowhere. Working – Paying bills – Spending what’s left is usually the most common scenario to many, especially to Filipinos.
But since you realized you want to change, you’re apart from them now. We’re apart from them. Maybe not 100% apart but your realization should provide you reasons to make smart decisions in life moving forward.
In the beginning, it feels difficult to start and to stay committed. It’s hard to change the “habits” we used to have. It takes dedication and pure discipline. That’s ok. That’s the challenge. Many give up early and they lose. Those who stay are the future winners.
If you really want to have financial independence in life and you are really committed of having a brighter future, there’s no reasons to give up. There’s no excuses. No retreat and no surrender as what the quote says. And that’s true.
Sometimes you may feel hopeless and tired, but you must not give up. Stand strong. Think of those previous “steps in life” you’ve made that brought you where you are right now, think of those financial goals you set, think of those dreams you want to achieve, think of those people you want to help, think of your family and most importantly, think of yourself. If you give up, you’ll back to zero. If you persists, you will get there.
I’m not a financial expert. I can only share what I know. I’m hoping to inspire and “spark a light” to fellow Filipinos to enjoy life while working on their goals. Like you I’m a beginner in personal finance too. I am also on my journey towards financial freedom. For my family, my wife and future children, for my dreams for our future.
Perhaps you’re saving for your emergency fund or your retirement. Or maybe you are saving for your wedding. Or your dream house or dream business. It could be for the education of your children or maybe for other personal reasons. Or maybe you’re an OFW who are looking to come back home for good once you achieved your goal. Whatever financial goals you have, I’m telling you not to give up. Stay strong. Stay positive.
Sometimes it feels everyday is the same and nothing changes. But when you look back, you’ll see the big difference. You’ll see the impact. The change. The results.
If something went wrong along the way, learn from it and continue moving forward. Take one step at a time. No matter how small, as long as you’re moving – you’ll get there. Good luck!
As I said, no retreat no surrender! To our success, cheers!
