I went to chinabank earlier, and i was asked to provide proof of billing, i dont know of that’s the new policy? It would be very much helpful if you will add proof of billing as one of the requirements! More powerful! ?

The bank is asking any billing statements (e.g. you could provide Certificate of Tenancy if you are currently renting rooms, apartments etc.), the bank will use it to confirm your address.

Actually I agree with Jonathan Paragas. Yesterday we went to Chinabank Commercenter Alabang to open a joint account. Both of us were asked to provide proof of billing (hello, should we divide our bills so that one bill is named after me and the other is named after my husband?) and that the IDs we provided should indicate the address similar to the proof of billing (so kung lilipat kami ng bahay, kailangan ulit naming magpalit ng ID?). Otherwise we needed to provide Barangay clearance.
