Attending seminars is one of the best thing you can do if you are just starting out in stock market investing. Investing time in educating ourselves is basically the first step we need to take to gain more knowledge and be more literate with investments we are venturing to.
Investing in ourselves is the best investment we could ever have. If you’re a newbie or a beginner in stock market investing like me and many others, attending stock market seminar is one of the best way you can do to help you understand and make a proper action plan about your stock market investing journey.
On this short article, I will share where you can attend free investing in the stock market seminars in the Philippines. FREE! Yap you heard it right. No fees and what so ever.
Before we continue, let me share you some personal experience. When I heard about investing in the stock market back in 2012 I have no idea where to start. I have no idea how the stock market works in the first place. All I know is it’s the place where stocks of large companies are being traded and facilitated here in the Philippines.
I don’t know how it works and I thought it was only for businessmen and rich people. After discovering my passion in personal finance I began to understand some basic and fundamental knowledge about stock market.
I read books, newspapers, magazines, personal finance blog, watch videos and I also attended seminars about how to invest in the stock market. In fact I attended 3 investing in the stock market seminars (last time together with my girlfriend, now my wife) before opening an account and started investing in the stock market. And I’m telling you, that’s one of the best decision I’ve made in my life.
By attending those stock market seminars, I understand the basics and fundamentals and that gave me the confidence to start investing in the stock market.
Today, I am more confident and knowledgeable than I was before. So many lessons and realizations not only about stock market but in other financial topic as well.
I’m not an expert and I considered myself a beginner/newbie. I just learned so much along the way and I’m continue learning everyday.
If you’re a beginner and just starting out, I encourage you to do the same. Attend seminars as many as you can. That can give you opportunity to understand the basic and fundamentals and will open more doors of learning and opportunities.
In fact you should’ve attended seminars before opening an account and start investing. That’s the most “ideal” way to start.

I also suggest you to read The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. It’s available in PDF online. This is one of the bible of great investors. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is also available in PDF online. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Employment is not a solution for a long time problem, investment is the solution as Robert Kiyosaki shared.

Hello good day! quite confused between insurance and investment. Which should come first? 2nd question: Can I do this way: get insurance and at the same time invest in stock market -( deposit 5,000 buy stock, add little amount per month) ? thanks for the advice 🙂
Billy says
It depends on your goal JV. What are you trying to achieve for your investments? Yes, you can get insurance and then regularly invest 5k in stock market if you can afford it. 5k is just an opening amount, after that you can deposit any amount. Thanks!
