Valentine cards are one of the simplest and romantic gift you can give to your love one without spending too much. You can purchase a card worth around P100 and express your love by writing how much you love your partner.

This truly express what’s on your heart without hurting the budget. If you’re creative, you can create your own card using recycled papers in your house.

Save Money on Valentines day

Valentine cards are not limited to lovers alone. If you’re single, you can create and send valentine cards to your parents or friends to express your love and affection to them. Spread the love!

5. Cook his/her favorite food

Cooking your partner’s favorite food can be one of the most romantic ways to save money on Valentines day. You’re not only exerting effort but dedicating your time to make her/him feel special.

You can watch movie while eating the food you cooked or set a dinner outside your house to make it more romantic. Very simple but surely capture the heart, right?

As mentioned, you don’t need to spend much to show your love and affection to your love one. If you’re on a tight budget, you can just watch a movie or your favorite series at home and spend time together.

You can also create a slideshow of your pictures and moments together and send it as a movie. Sweet right? I told you, you just need to be creative. 🙂

This can be part of #3 but can be a very romantic way to save money on Valentines day too. You can create a music video or music cover of your his/here favorite song and sing it for him/her. This way you can express your feeling through your voice. You don’t need to be good in singing, as long as it came from you heart you’re going to knock it.

You can also utilize the benefits of technology today. Create a cover using applications or social media and send it to her/him.

Whether you’re doing something or not, the most romantic way to celebrate Valentines day is to spend time together. Be it just in your house, in public park, seaside or anywhere. You name it. Quality time is the most precious gift you can give to your love one in any occasion. You just need to be there!

Since this year’s Valentines day is Sunday, another best thing you can spend time together is to go to church. That’s what our plan. We’re going to church together and pray and then maybe take some snack outside. This is how we bond and save as newly wed couple this Valentines. What’s yours?
