Out of all the personal finance, success and entrepreneurial-related books I’ve read so far, these are the 2 books that really changed my perspective about life and money. I’ve read almost hundreds of books today(ebooks and hardcopy), and all because I read that 2 books first when I’m just starting out. What are they? See below.
I’m into reading personal finance, success or entrepreneurial-related books or ebooks. I’m a big fan of them. You can leave me in the house or in a room with that kind of books and I have no problem with that. I can stay and read all day long.
And upon realizing my passion in personal finance and entrepreneurship, I gathered all the resources I can to increase my knowledge and fire up my curiosity to learn more. Luckily I stumbled on this 2 books I’m going to share you today.
You may have read them in the past. Honestly, this might not be a surprise for you(if you like reading these stuff too). But if you’re just starting out, I highly suggest to read them and embrace the message of each. It changed the lives of millions of people and there is no chance that it can literally change yours.

What’re my 2 favorite books of all time?
1. Rich Dad Poor Dad
I told you. It will come not as a surprise. This book literally changed millions of lives on this earth. From every different country and different nations with different languages, it created a huge impact on human society on this planet.
This book literally changed millions of lives on this earth. From every different country and different nations with different languages, it created a huge impact on human society on this planet.
Why?
Maybe because Robert Kiyosaki exposed and uncovered some financial myths there that most of the people don’t realize. He also showed many pain points of many individuals and how it can be solved through financial literacy.
I cannot remember how I discovered the book but it was all because I continuously searching for additional knowledge when I’m just starting to learn proper personal finance. And after reading the book, I was amazed by the information and realities it planted in my brain. I have blown away.
And after reading the book, I was amazed by the information and realities it planted in my brain. I was blown away.
That lead me to change my thinking and habit about money, how I look rich people and fire up my passion for chasing financial independence, business and things I’m into today.
Like it did in many other people, it opened my eyes to the possibility of escaping the rat race and living worry less about money.
And of course, like any other best-selling book and authors, there are others who criticize and didn’t agree on the idea the book presented. But it didn’t matter, in my opinion, this is one of the best books ever created on earth about finance and business.
I’m not going to share the story and how the book was about. If you haven’t read it yet, search for it and you’ll be amazed at the value you’ll get from this book alone.
Let’s see what’s the 2nd one.
2. Think and Grow Rich
Think and Grow Rich is the other book that really changed the way I see life in general. How happiness and success really is.
Like the Rich Dad Poor Dad book, it literally changed mine and other lives of million people around the world.
The study of greatest and richest man in the history of America really provide a concrete example of how anyone can achieve financial independence if he is really serious about it.
That a burning desire is where it all started. That the mind is your best asset and more. This book is one of the longest read I’ve done. But honestly, I’ve read it multiple times already. And every time I read this one, I learn and discover new things.
Imagine, almost all successful American entrepreneurs stories condense in a book. There so much value in it, promise!
Honestly, I’ve read it multiple times already. And every time I read this one, I learn and discover new things. I don’t want to go into detail of this book too. I told you, it’s a long read, but definitely worth it.
The common denominator
The 2 books I shared above are totally different books. The other one is personal finance and the last one is a success or business related. But you know what’s the common denominator for them about the lessons I learned?
I’ll say it in one sentence.
Your mind is your greatest asset in achieving wealth and success. That’s it!
If you read the book, you know what I mean. All of the lessons and fundamentals goes back to this common denominator. And I believe that’s true.
As what the famous quote says, “It’s all begins and ends in the mind“.
This is just 2 of the hundreds of books I’ve read today. But as I shared, they are the most influential in my life so far(in general).
There’s a lot of copies of this book in a bookstore or you just search them online and surely, you’ll find one. But, if you want to have an ebook copy, you may want to check here as I give it as part of my bonuses on my simple ebook from this blog. Only if you’re interested.
Here’s also another list of Filipino personal finance related books you might be interested to read.
